We just finished another amazing Enrichment. We had the honor to accompany three inspiring Warriors on a world-class Elk hunt while staying at a luxury lodge! At Sportsmen for Warriors we not only seek Warriors who need assistance and support, we also look to honor and highlight those who give back and make an impact on the community. All three Warriors honorable served and are using their education benefits for college. They are active members in the Student Veteran Organization and shining examples to the student body! It was a privilege to get to know these Warriors and hear their stories! SFW proudly thanks our sponsors who made it possible for us to honor and Enrich these Warriors! A special thank you to TRAX PowerSports Rentals of Bountiful for the Polaris RZR side by sides!
Josh H. Grew up in Colorado Springs and served honorably in the Marine Corps. Josh Is the president of the Student Veterans Organization at his University and grew the organization from 4-36 members in one semester! He is also the only student on the University’s veteran advisory board. Josh is studying Pre-med and plans to continue in medical education.
Chris M. served in the Air Force and has served combat time in Iraq. He is an active member in the veteran community at his University where he studies Sports Science and hopes to continue into a solid medical program. This was Chris’s first time hunting and though we did not harvest an Elk, I think he developed an interested in responsible hunting.
